Six Word Story: Home


 

Telling a story with the fewest words possible is an extreme example of "flash fiction." Rumor has it that the famous author Ernest Hemingway made a bet with friends that he could craft a story in six words. The result: "For sale: Baby shoes, never worn." 

Over the years there have been six-word story contests and even published books of these examples of flash fiction.
